HR Generalist

For our client, an established and innovative company in the recycling and circular economy sector based in SG, we are looking for a committed and independent personality as HR Generalist / HR Manager 80-100% (m/f/d) immediately or by agreement. In this versatile role, you will take full responsibility for the operational HR area, including payroll and be the central contact person for all personnel issues.

Your Tasks:

• Full responsibility and management of the entire operational HR area
• Independent execution of payroll accounting as well as responsibility for absence management
• Responsibility for the entire employee lifecycle – from onboarding to exit
• Recruitment of new employees, including job postings, interviews, and applicant management
• Consulting and support of line managers and employees in all HR matters
• Creation of employment contracts as well as maintenance of personnel files and job descriptions
• Organization and accompaniment of employee reviews
• Communication with authorities, offices, and social insurances
• Responsibility for HR compliance, data protection, and personnel-related documentation

Your Profile:

• Completed training in HR, e.g., as a Personnel Assistant; HR specialist with federal diploma is an advantage
• Several years of professional experience as an HR generalist, ideally in an SME
• Sound experience in independent payroll accounting
• Enjoy leading an HR area independently and acting as the central contact person
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented work style with high initiative
• High social competence, discretion, and pronounced service orientation
• Very good German language skills in spoken and written
• Very good MS Office skills
