HR Assistant

We are the oldest bakery in the city of Lucerne. The company is in the hands of the 5th generation and majority shareholder FFB-Group (Migros Industry). The bakery looks beyond the boundaries of its bakery and aims not only to produce the best bread, rolls, and pastries but also to create a sustainable future for the company and its employees.

Our HR team is the heart of administrative support: we are responsible for the entire employee lifecycle including payroll and see ourselves as a modern service provider for our diverse workforce.

Expect a lot of variety in your role. As part of our lively team of four, you will ensure that all administrative tasks from onboarding to offboarding are competently and reliably managed. You will support our specialists, supervisors, and employees with various diverse topics related to HR work.

Your tasks:

  • Administrative processing of onboarding, offboarding, and employee changes.
  • Entering and maintaining employee data in the digital file (SwissSalary NAV).
  • Monitoring and requesting work permits.
  • Creating reference letters and confirmations.
  • Managing applications (creating job postings in collaboration with the line, preselection, scheduling interviews, conducting initial phone interviews).
  • Organizing and coordinating employee events such as anniversaries, birthdays, weddings, births, etc.
  • Point of contact for employees, supervisors, and external partners.
  • Participation in projects for the continuous improvement of our processes including digitization.

Your profile:

  • Commercial basic education.
  • Further training as an HR assistant / HR specialist is advantageous.
  • Reliable, independent, and precise working style with a networked way of thinking.
  • Enthusiasm for supporting our employees with advice and assistance in personnel-related matters.
  • Proficient user skills in common MS Office programs and enthusiasm for using modern IT tools (we work with Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Office 365).
