To strengthen its Human Resources management, the University of Geneva is announcing the position of:

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the definition, deployment, and evolution of the HR strategy of the University, in close collaboration with the HR Director.
• Ensure the harmonization of HR practices and compliance with legal, regulatory, and institutional frameworks while promoting continuous improvement.
• Act as an HR expertise and process reference, particularly in the context of the strategic Human Resource Information System (HRIS) program.
• Provide high-level HR expertise to departments and HR managers in managing complex and sensitive situations.
• Develop knowledge sharing, contribute to HR performance management, and participate in identifying, assessing, and managing risks in the HR function.
• Represent the HR management at university bodies and institutional partners and ensure the succession of the HR Director.

Profile and Skills

• Hold a master's degree in human resources or equivalent training, complemented by training in management or project management.
• At least five years of experience in an HR role with responsibilities, enabling the management of strategic projects and support of organizational transformations.
• Excellent knowledge of the functioning of public administration or a university institution and solid expertise in human resource management, HR governance, and project management.
• Recognized for leadership, analytical skills, and decisiveness in supporting various stakeholders with diplomacy and conviction.
• High sense of ethics, confidentiality, and public service. Strong writing skills in French and English (C1 level) and good knowledge of German (B2 level).
