Area Manager Human Resources (80 - 100%)

For us, HR work is much more than administration. We accompany people, provide orientation, and ensure that employees feel well supported from the first contact to their exit. With heart, clarity, and a keen sense of diverse needs, we design processes that facilitate everyday work and enable development. Due to a succession plan, we are looking for a personality who enjoys supporting people and actively shaping our HR processes from September 1, 2026.

Your tasks

  • Administration of all government employees and volunteers of our parish
  • Support and development of entrusted staff
  • Management of payroll (Abacus) and HR regulations
  • Coordination and administration of recruitment and application processes
  • Coordination and administration of discussions with employees alongside the responsible parish council
  • Management and maintenance of digital and physical personnel files
  • Monitoring time and performance recording (Abacus) as well as internal mandatory training and ensuring compliance with labor law requirements
  • Preparation, execution, and monitoring of parish council decisions in the HR area
  • Participation in monthly parish council meetings

Your profile

  • HR specialist with a recognized federal qualification or equivalent education
  • Experience in a comparable position, ideally in a public institution
  • Knowledge of ecclesiastical and public law (or willingness to acquire this knowledge)
  • High initiative and reliability, as well as a self-reliant and solution-oriented working style (including with Abacus, CMI, Microsoft Office)
  • Flexibility and willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends
  • Interest in the spiritual life of our parish
