Are you an HR personality who enjoys working closely with operations, actively supporting leaders and accompanying employees throughout their entire employment?

The Parkhotel Gunten is a popular 3-star superior hotel located directly on Lake Thun with a unique location and special atmosphere. We employ around 60 staff, of whom 40 in total. Together with the Parkresidenz and the care home Des Alpes in Merligen, we belong to the GEFAB cooperative - an organization that consciously connects and develops different operational worlds. Engaged employees and appreciative collaboration are important to us - this is where your role begins.

We are looking for a Responsible HR (40%-60%) starting on June 1 or by arrangement.

Your Tasks

  • Responsibility for all operational HR work (entry, support, exit, administration)
  • Leadership and ensuring efficient, correct personnel administration including contracts, mutations, payroll, social insurances, and collaboration with external bodies
  • Active support and advice to management in all HR questions of daily life
  • Responsibility for the recruitment process - from needs assessment to filling positions
  • Accompanying challenging personnel situations (e.g. discussions, absences, labor law topics)
  • Ensuring compliance with labor law requirements as well as maintaining and further developing regulations and HR fundamentals
  • Building and maintaining HR metrics and evaluations as the basis for informed decisions
  • Additionally, you will contribute to the further development of HR topics, structures, and standards within GEFAB and contribute to uniform, forward-looking personnel work.

What you bring

  • Education in the field of Human Resources (e.g. HR diploma or equivalent)
  • Several years of experience in a broadly defined HR function
  • Solid knowledge of labor law and HR processes
  • Joy in operational, practical HR work with direct contact with employees and managers
  • High service orientation, discretion, and sense of responsibility
  • Strong communication and high social competence
  • Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style
  • Interest in working in an environment that connects hospitality and care
  • Very good knowledge of German
