Head of Human Resources (80%)

Lead a strong HR team and manage various HR processes in a meaningful environment.

Our client, the Catholic Church of Lucerne, makes a significant contribution to church and social life in the city. Around 300 employees engage daily in diverse ways to serve the community. The office, with about 25 employees, provides central services to the entire organization.

Responsibilities

• Leading the HR department and managing a team of three in HR consulting and payroll administration
• Responsible for recruitment, labor law, and all HR processes
• Provide HR consulting for the office and various locations
• Manage HR change processes
• Oversee the personnel budget in collaboration with management and department leaders
• Advising the church council and drafting proposals
• Leading HR projects and participating in project teams
• Initiate and organize training sessions and events
• Work closely with management, department heads, and your team

Profile

• Completed higher professional education in Human Resources
• At least 5 years of experience in a senior HR position
• Proven leadership skills and experience in project and process management
• Strong conceptual and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Very good MS Office knowledge; knowledge of Abacus is an advantage
• Affinity with the Catholic Church and its values
