For the Human Resources Department in Basel, we are looking for an engaged and experienced person as an HR Assistant (100%) immediately or by agreement.
Our 6-member HR team supports and assists our project teams and business departments in all personnel matters. In an international, creative, and project-oriented environment, we ensure that our employees are professionally cared for and our HR processes function reliably.
For this diverse role, we are looking for a pragmatic, careful, and thoughtful person who enjoys taking on responsibility, has a passion for people and administrative precision, and is looking to develop professionally.
Your tasks:

  • You support the HR team in all personnel administration – from contracts, changes, and references to meticulous digital and physical filing.
  • You participate in recruitment processes, communicate with applicants, and coordinate interviews.
  • Moreover, you organize and accompany entries and exits and ensure that on- and offboardings are well prepared and professionally implemented for all parties involved.
  • Another focus is on managing time and absence systems, including vacation planning and time tracking. You create HR evaluations and reports, support internal projects, and contribute your ideas to the continuous development of our processes.
  • In doing so, you actively shape your role and work closely with the entire HR team.
    Your profile:
  • You have completed a commercial training, ideally supplemented by further training as an HR Assistant or experience in personnel management.
  • You bring at least 3 years of professional experience in a comparable HR assistant function and feel comfortable in a service-oriented, dynamic environment.
  • You work independently, structured, and very reliably. You maintain oversight even with multiple parallel tasks, act discreetly and carefully, and possess a strong sense of accuracy. At the same time, you communicate openly, friendly, and reliably and enjoy working in a team.
  • You are proficient in MS Office; knowledge of HR software and time and absence systems is advantageous.
  • You communicate fluently in German and English. Additional language skills are welcome.
  • An interest in architecture or experience in a project-based, international environment rounds off your profile.
You can expect a responsible position in a multicultural and creative work environment influenced by international standards.
We provide space to contribute your experience, further develop your role with the team, and continuously expand your HR knowledge.
If you enjoy working, have a commitment to moving things forward reliably, and wish to develop long-term within an engaged team, we look forward to receiving your complete application documents, indicating reference B26-16.
