Head of Human Resources with Executive Committee Membership
As a regional health center for the population of Freiamt and surrounding regions, the hospital with around 850 employees provides comprehensive acute medical primary care.
The "Human Resources" department is part of the management and ensures smooth and efficient personnel administration, including payroll accounting. As a service provider, HR also supports the area and department heads in recruiting and developing their employees. The head of the HR department is a member of the executive management and the crisis staff of the hospital. They report directly to the CEO.
Your tasks include leading the HR department of the hospital with 15 employees and being responsible for all HR processes. Ensure an efficiently structured, practical, and digitized HR process landscape and support the area and department heads particularly in personnel leadership responsibility.
You prioritize topics like payroll, recruitment, BGM, and employee development, enabling your employees to provide corresponding services independently, competently, timely, and appropriately. You promote hospital-wide leadership in management and ensure suitable internal training offerings. You foster a modern, appreciative, and performance-oriented corporate culture and engage in ensuring high employer attractiveness.
Currently, the consolidation of the new IT systems and the continuation of digitalization are at the forefront. Along with your team, you provide a qualitatively high-quality data basis, which forms the basis for data-driven analysis and control of HR key figures and personnel costs in close collaboration with controlling.
As a member of the hospital management, you not only represent the interests of HR but are also interested in cross-disciplinary issues at the hospital level. You are expected to contribute substantively to the strategic development of our acute hospital in a financially and health-politically demanding environment. Representational duties outside of regular working hours are part of the role.

On the professional level, you possess a degree in human resources from a university of applied sciences or a university and several years of experience in operational HR work in a leadership position. You have sound knowledge of labor law as well as modern HR instruments and methods. You are particularly experienced and confident in payroll, BGM, and recruitment, and skilled in conducting challenging employee conversations. Executive experience in a large company is advantageous. Finally, you have high IT proficiency and operate competently in a modern, digitally-oriented, and continuously evolving work environment.
